Junior
Chef Club Serbia took part in METRO GROUP’s programme for refugees by
organizing charity action called “Young chefs without borders”. This action
lasted from 25th until 28th of April. During those four
days, Chefs from Junior Chef Club Serbia, along with assistance of Uros
Urosevic (HoReCa center manager) had prepared, distributed and served more than
1600 delicious and healthy meals. Each meal was composed of main course, salad
and fresh fruit for dessert. Food preparation process took place in METRO
HoReCa center and was followed by serving it in Asylum for refugees “Krnjaca”
in Belgrade. On daily bases, more than 200 people come to this asylum in search
for shelter.
